MENTORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Mentoring increases minority student academic achievement as well as enrollment and retention. Underrepresented students in college programs who get good mentorship report that mentoring is the single most crucial factor of their success after college.

But, good mentorship takes people who are willing to be good mentors.

The Helping Project is actively seeking professionals in STEM fields who want to guide young adults who have been historically underrepresented in STEM professions.

We need strong mentors with a passion for sharing their work-life knowledge and who either know how to provide successful psychosocial support for students who have been marginalized or are willing to learn how
